Youth Leadership America (YLA) announces the Inaugural Youth Leadership Summit & Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center. With the support of the city of Anaheim, YLA aims to provide over 20,000 high school students and their parents with this unique, one-day opportunity.

The complimentary one-day event takes place on August 20, 2022 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and will feature multiple workshops ranging from mental health and well-being to public speaking and networking.

Summit & Expo Goals:

• Celebrate the power and potential of our youth.
  • For high school students in Orange County.
• Connect youth with others in a positive youth leadership environment.
  • This event is put together by YLA youth members under the supervision of adult advisors and mentors.
• Connect youth with their local community, specifically to organizations that:
  • Serve youth and their families.
  • Nonprofits in need of youth volunteers.
  • Nonprofits that provide leadership development opportunities and/or scholarships.
  • Expo exhibition is only for government agencies and nonprofits that serve youth (high school students) or provide opportunities for their development.
• Provide empowering workshops for students and parents.
