Directing Change Second Annual Paint My Piece

Join Directing Change on December 7, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm (PST) for their second annual virtual Paint My Piece.

From the comfort of your home, you’ll be given instruction as you recreate a work of art from youth artist, and Hope & Justice participant, Victoria Rodriguez.

Victoria, a senior from Claremont High School, painted Growing Flower Tree in response to the monthly prompt Going Back to School: The good, the Bad, and the unexpected. About her piece, Victoria said “When a plant is well nurtured, it starts to grow. Something that helped me bring back hope for the future was speaking affirmative words and phrases before leaving home and before starting anything new. As a result of working on this project, I’ve been able to help understand, communicate, and grow towards some distant family members.”
