LGBTQIA+ Mental Health Community Teach-in

This event is aimed at reducing mental health stigma for the LGBTQIA+ community. The goal of this teach-in is to provide attendees with a better understanding of mental health issues and to help reduce the stigma surrounding these issues within the LGBTQIA+ community. The event will be led by mental health professionals who specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and will include interactive discussions, workshops, and resources.

Participants will learn about the various mental health challenges that the LGBTQIA+ community faces and will be provided with information on how to identify and seek support for mental health concerns. Additionally, participants will leave the teach-in with a better understanding of mental health, resources for seeking support, and strategies for reducing mental health stigma within the LGBTQIA+ community. By making an effort to spread mental health awareness and education, we can work to destigmatize how we think about, approach, and identify mental health issues and the way that it impacts LGBTQ2S+ youth and people.
This teach-in is intended for youth, students, parents, guardians, teachers, counselors, administrators, community members and professionals.

Event is held in-person * A virtual component will be offered through Zoom. Zoom link will be sent out to registrants.
